Brand Identity:

Our new colorful logo features ten distinct “culture bursts” (each representing one of Denver’s ten Sister Cities) all emanating from a single source (the City of Denver as the common point of origin for the relationships). The “culture bursts” imply action and energy, while the dynamic arcs represent a path for connections. The logo is also reflective of vintage foreign travel stamps denoting a cross-borders aspect. It’s a bright, eye-catching and completely unique mark for a diverse and open-minded organization.

Brand Expression:

The new tagline, Sparking the New Global Conversation is intended to be a bit evocative – a “tell me more” kind of feeling. The words themselves also hold special meaning. ‘Sparking’ is a double entendre – it speaks to creation and ignition as well as the bursts in the new logo. ‘New’ is future-looking for a progressive and visionary organization. ‘Global conversation’ provides a broader context and applies to all mission areas and the ways we tell the stories of Denver Sister Cities. It’s not just talking, but the people and relationships behind it. The tagline is powerful for our organization as both an inspirational and aspirational objective.
