Sister City Music Exchange arrives in Brest, France

UPDATE: Here’s a video advertisement for a student mixer at Universite de Bretagne Occidentale in Brest that features our Denver bands on exchange!

Morning Bear, Nasty Nachos, and Poet’s Row arrived in Brest, France on October 6th for the Sister City Music Exchange, representing Denver musically in our longest-standing Sister City! They’ll number of concerts and attend a variety of events to discuss Denver’s music scene and musical entrepreneurship, and we’re hoping that a collaborative composition describing the impact of this experience will be one result, along with professional development, creative inspiration, and lasting global friendships!

Of course, the exchange includes a trip to Brasserie du Baril, the Brest brewpub creating a collaborative beer with Renegade Brewing!
The lead organizers of this exchange in Brest are four university students, seen here taking part in the Bienvenue Officiel at City Hall: Axelle Jaouen, Charline Lemort, Doriane Dutertre, and Anne-Laure LeGarrec
