Discussing the Sister Cities people to people concept in sports diplomacy during the Kenya Academy of  Sports 2 nd Annual International Conference in Nairobi

Joseph Odhiambo, Chair of the Denver-Nairobi Committe, was on vacation to visit with folks in Kenya and took time to connect with the sister city folks in Nairobi with a desire to pursue what he has been passionate about – building a formidable relationship with Nairobi.

Joseph’s dream is to build a connection between Denver and the people of Nairobi through philanthropy, education, economic development, and culture. We held meetings with three key stakeholders and a committee was formed. We have been holding monthly zoom meetings on the second Friday of every month at 8am Mountain time since July. Please email nairobi@denversistercities.org to receive the meeting link.
