Third Annual Downtown Celebration Presented by BOK Financial Will Commemorate the 40th Anniversary of Denver’s Sister City Relationship With Chennai, India
Denver, CO (May 8, 2024) – Denver Sister Cities International is thrilled to once again be partnering with Denver’s Fireside at Five to host Taste of India on Wednesday, July 17th – Saturday, July 20th.
Presented by BOK Financial, this vibrant three-day celebration will commemorate the 40th anniversary of Denver’s Sister City relationship with Chennai, India, showcasing the unique historical relationship between the two cities while also fostering a deep appreciation for Denver’s thriving Indian culture.

Taste of India guests can enjoy a schedule of cultural pop-up activities and the large festival event including live music and performances, a celebrity chef dinner with Chef Dave Hadley, a yoga class, a Bharatanatyam dance lesson, Sounds of India Luncheon, and more.

New this year, the immersive multi-day festival will take place over multiple downtown locations, including Denver’s Skyline Park.
Last year, Fireside at Five and Denver Sister Cities International hosted Taste of Mexico Presented by BOK Financial to celebrate Denver’s sister city of Cuernavaca, Mexico. In 2022, they honored Brest, France at the Taste of France event presented by Air France.
