About this trip
Join us in this unique opportunity to travel as a Denver ambassador in a 11-day cultural immersion tour with Denver Sister Cities International to Japan. Experience Japan in the Fall with stops in Takayama, Kanazawa, and Tokyo. Explore the history, traditions and culture of Japan while seeing Japan’s fall colors in Gifu prefecture the “Japanese Alps”. Spend four days in Takayama, one of Denver’s oldest Sister Cities. Dress in Kimono while shopping in Takayama’s old town. Enjoy food at Kanazawa’s Omi-Cho fish market and see the famed Kenrokuen gardens. Discover the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Shirakawa-go. Interact with the digital art of TeamLabs in Tokyo.
