Established in 1975, the Denver-Nairobi partnership will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2025. This luncheon offers a unique opportunity to engage with our sister city program and become part of the future of the Denver-Nairobi sister city relationship. Learn about the history and significance of this sister city connection and discover ways to get involved in fostering this important relationship.
Experience an enchanting African musical journey with Silas Mwenda, a celebrated musician born and raised in Kenya and now based in Denver. With a burning passion for the creative industry since childhood, Silas has been performing since he was six years old. He has won the ‘Diaspora Artiste of the Year’ at the prestigious East and Central African Entertainment Awards (FEMA Awards) held at KICC Nairobi, Kenya. Recently featured on the Sunday Crossover Show on NTV live in Nairobi, Silas will captivate you with his music, celebrating the rich culture and heritage of Nairobi. Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to connect with Nairobi and enjoy an afternoon of culture, music, and community.
