Do I need to speak another language?
Not at all. Curiosity, openness, and an interest in connecting with people are what matter.
Do I have to join a sister city committee?
No. Committee participation is optional. Members can choose how actively they want to participate.
Can I attend events without being a member?
Many DSCI events welcome the broader community. Registration requirements and any applicable fees vary by event.
Is subscribing to DSCI news the same as becoming a member?
No. Receiving news updates is a way to stay informed. A paid membership is a separate way to support DSCI and its ongoing mission.
Can students become members?
DSCI welcomes students and young people interested in international understanding. Please review the available membership options during registration.
