Meet Cuernavaca, Mexico.
Cuernavaca, the capital of Morelos, is known as La Ciudad de la Primavera Eterna — the City of Eternal Springtime. Its temperate climate, gardens, and colonial history have long attracted visitors and artists.
Located south of Mexico City, Cuernavaca is a center for culture and education. Its historic cathedral and architectural heritage reflect the city’s place in Mexico’s history.
A friendship since 1983.
Cuernavaca became Denver’s sixth sister city in 1983. The partnership has developed through education, community programs, and lasting relationships between residents.
